When Shane Larkin has his three-point shot going, he’s hard to stop, and when his teammates are pouring in buckets too, Anadolu Efes is unstoppable.

They picked up their fifth straight win on Tuesday, pulling away late to soundly defeat Valencia Basket 99-83 at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall. Shane tallied 15 points, all of them coming on his five made threes. In fact, he didn’t even attempt a shot from inside the arc, shooting 5-of-9 from deep. He added six assists and three rebounds in the victorious effort while Sertac Sanli led the way with 20 points and Roddy Beaubois added 19, including five threes of his own.

The fifth consecutive win saw Efes make a major climb into fifth in the EuroLeague standings. They’re just a half game behind 4th place FC Bayern Munich and one game behind AX Armani Exchange Milan. They’ll carry that streak into a huge matchup on Thursday at home against CSKA Moscow, currently the second place team in the EL standings. Tip-off is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. ET on Thursday.
