With a two-week break between EuroLeague games on the schedule, Anadolu Efes decided to work Shane Larkin into the lineup of their latest Turkish Super League matchup on Saturday, and his contributions helped Efes stay unbeaten in league play.

Shane played 22 minutes and tallied 13 points on 4-of-7 from three as Efes eked out an 84-80 victory over Besiktas to improve to 21-0 in Turkish Super League play.

Shane’s biggest contribution came late in the first half when, for the second straight game, he buried a three and drew a foul on his shot, completing a four-point play that turned a three-point deficit into a lead for Efes in one fell swoop.

Later, with Besiktas again leading, Shane drove to the bucket and threw a no-look pass back to teammate Bryant Dunston for a game-tying dunk.

That kicked off an Efes run that pushed them to a nine-point lead after three and they held on in the final frame to pull out the win and remain unbeaten in the Turkish Super League.

They will look to keep their unbeaten season intact on Tuesday when they play Büyükçekmece on the road.
