A slow start Thursday on the road doomed the three-match EuroLeague win streak of Anadolu Efes.

Zenit St. Petersburg opened up a double digit lead in the first quarter and led by more than 20 at halftime en route to a 85-78 win over Efes at Sibur Arena.

The loss marked Efes’ first in the 2021 calendar year and their first when Shane Larkin, who posted 20 points along with five assists and three steals in the defeat, scored 15 or more points in a contest.

Efes falls to 11-10 in EuroLeague action with the loss, but they’ll get back to it next Tuesday when they host Crvena Zvezda. Tip-off is slated for 11 a.m. ET.
