After taking the opening half to shake off some rust from a pre-playoff layoff, Anadolu Efes played at the top of their ability in the second half on Tuesday and rolled to victory in Game 1 of their first round playoff series with Real Madrid.

Shane Larkin was one of five Efes players in double figures, scoring 14 points and added five assists, as Efes defeated Real Madrid 90-63 in the first matchup of their best-of-five series. Efes held a slim four-point lead at halftime, but pushed the pace out of the locker room and quickly took complete control of the game. They managed to hold Real Madrid to just 23 points in the entire second half, while scoring at least 20 in each quarter to close out the route. Rodrique Beaubois led the scoring with 19 points on a red-hot 8-of-14 from the field while Sertac Sanli chipped in 16 points and eight rebounds in just 20 minutes of game action and was named MVP of the match.

The series continues on Thursday evening in Istanbul as Efes hosts Game 2 at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall.  Tip-off is slated for 1 p.m. ET.
