On a milestone evening, Shane Larkin came up with the big buckets that Anadolu Efes needed to get back on track in Euroleague play.

Shane tallied 18 points on 7-of-10 from the field, including his 1500th career Euroleague point, and his late scoring helped bring Efes (7-5) back for a 72-68 victory over LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne on Tuesday at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall.

Anadolu Efes led by as much 13 points early in the second half, but found themselves down in the closing minutes. They mounted a comeback as the game headed toward its conclusion and Shane’s bucket in the 39th minute put them up 66-65. He followed with two free throws in the 40th minute to make it 68-65 and Efes held on from there for the victory. In addition to his 18 points, No. 0 had five rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Efes heads to Spain for a game against Valencia Basket on Thursday, December 10.
